MSCDN design and installation works in Piteå municipality

Through this invitation to apply for qualification, MBN cordially invites interested parties to apply for qualification to tender for a contract for two MSCDN devices with ratings of 126 MVAr each. The works include the detailed design, delivery, installation and commissioning of MSCDN 3&4. The scope will be divided into two sections as follows; 1. MSCDN 3, the MVar to be decided in stage 2 (approx. 90-126 MVAr), with connection to the 150kV busbar inside the substation Råbäcken; and 2. MSCDN 4, the MVar to be decided in stage 2 (approx. 90-126 MVAr), with connection to the 150kV busbar inside the substation Råbäcken. The scope includes all associated civil, mechanical and foundation works, the construction and installation as well as the connection to the control and auxiliary facilities. The scope does not include the 150kV switching bays. Electrical connection from the locations for MSCDN 3&4 to the 150kV switching bays is included in the scope. The works may also include removing and putting up new fencing around the locations for MSCDN 3&4
