The equipment is a system for: (a) development of material analysis methods in the field of spectroscopy; (b) chemical analysis by photoelectron spectroscopy of buried boundary layer. The system consists of a vacuum system with X-ray light source and photoelectron spectrometer together with sample holder And peripherals for sample manipulation and cleaning (e.g. Argon ion sputtering to clean surfaces).
