In order to allow new high-impact research directions within ultrasound diagnostics and therapeutics, a flexible ultrasound system is needed that can provide focused acoustic energy delivery for radiation force sequences and High-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU), achieve high frame rates, allow access to the raw acoustic data, and provide the ability to program each channel independently. The present procurement aims for such an ultrasound imaging system.
