The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather information on the prerequisites for developing future command and control systems for naval vessels, moving towards an interoperable system based on modularity and modern IT security principles. This document provides an overview of how the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration envisions the future system. The described system is based on interoperability requirements in accordance with NATO standards and the Federated Mission Networking (FMN) framework, as well as national requirements for information security and the ability to deploy and maintain the system across multiple platforms.
