Beskrivning
The procurement concerns a web‑based Software‑as‑a‑Service (SaaS) providing a comprehensive database of national and international research funding opportunities. The service shall provide structured and continuously updated information on open, forthcoming and recurring research funding calls, with a particular focus on Swedish, Nordic, European and international funding agencies. The solution shall support researchers, research support staff and university management at Umeå University in identifying, monitoring, analysing and following relevant funding opportunities. The procurement covers access for approximately 4,500 users, including researchers and research support staff, and shall include functionality for searching, filtering, monitoring and reporting on funding calls, as well as administrative tools, user support, onboarding and training, system operation, maintenance and ongoing development. A central objective of the procurement is to promote adoption and usage of the service within the University over the contract period. The Supplier is expected to actively support user adoption through onboarding, training and other adoption activities, in accordance with specific contractual conditions. These measures are intended to ensure that the service delivers sustained value to the University by reaching relevant user groups and supporting effective use of the system over time. In addition, the procurement seeks to ensure a high and transparent coverage of relevant funding agencies and their funding calls. The service shall meet defined minimum coverage levels across key categories of funders, which are verified during the procurement process and maintained throughout the contract period. The procurement further includes contractual mechanisms aimed at progressively increasing the minimum coverage of relevant funding calls over time, as set out in the procurement documents.
